Trump's personal assistant has to leave

And another departure in the White House: The personal assistant to US President Donald Trump has resigned, according to media reports, after she had shared information about the presidential family to journalists. Madeleine Westerhout recently met journalists during Trump’s stay in New Jersey, the New York Times reported. In doing so, she passed on confidential information, which Trump has now learned.

The news channel CNN and the “Politico” portal also reported the departure of Westerhout. According to CNN, the personal assistant at the meeting with journalists had made it not clear that it was a confidential conversation “off the record”, the journalists are not allowed to report. One of the media representatives then informed the White House about the conversation.

Westerhout’s office is right in front of the Oval Office, considered Trump’s “porter” and an assistant since the beginning of the presidency. Her resignation joins in a variety of departures in the White House since the trumps took office.
