US President Donald Trump has canceled his week-end trip to Poland over the approaching hurricane “Dorian”. Trump said that by remaining in the country, he wanted to ensure that all of his government’s resources were “geared to the incoming storm.”
For the US, Vice President Mike Pence will instead attend remembrance sessions on the Participate in World War II in Poland, Trump said Thursday in the White House. He also explained this to the Polish President Andrzej Duda by telephone. Trump was originally scheduled to arrive in Warsaw on Sunday.
Hurricane “Dorian” is currently gathering power over the western Atlantic and is expected to hit the southeast coast of the United States on Sunday or Monday. Meteorologists predict that “Dorian” will hit land as a very powerful hurricane.(AP)
